And volunteering doesn't have to mean joining the PTA Board or spending hours at school.

PTA helps bring so many of the experiences our students look forward to throughout the year.

These programs are possible because Disney families step forward to help.
You don’t need any special experience.
You don’t need to already know people in PTA.
You don’t need a huge amount of free time.
You just need to be willing to help in whatever way works for you.

The PTA Executive Board meets monthly to discuss priorities, spending and plan our next events.
Join us as a board member. We currently need volunteers for the following positions:

- Social Events Organizer
- Sustainability/Campus Beautification

- Yearbook Coordinator
- Grant Writer

We’re looking for parent volunteers to help students during lunch as they learn to sorting their leftovers into the right bins. We especially need helping hands during the first few weeks of school, so we’ll have volunteer opportunities throughout September from 11:30 a.m.–12:40 p.m.
It’s a simple way to make a difference — and a pretty great excuse to see all the fun and joy happening at lunchtime!

Love books, organizing, or just want a relaxing way to lend a hand at Disney? Our school library could use you! We’re looking for parent volunteers who can help during school hours with simple library projects like labeling, repairing, sorting, and shelving books to help keep our library organized and ready for our students.

It takes a village to put on Disney’s biggest celebration and biggest fundraiser of the year — and we need our Disney families to help make the magic happen! With an event this big, we need LOTS of helping hands! We’re asking each Disney family to contribute just one hour of volunteer time to help make the event a success.
There are plenty of ways to pitch in — Choose a shift that works for you, then spend the rest of the evening enjoying the celebration with your family!

notice: BUSD Clearance for in-School volunteering
Many school events, like the Scholastic Book Fair, are only made possible by the parents who support Disney Elementary with their time. If you are interested in helping on campus, during school hours, please be sure to complete a BUSD Volunteer Form. Note: one of the requirements is to have a cleared TB assessment form completed by a medical professional, and you should have this ready prior to submitting your application.
