WE’RE HAVING A BOOK FAIR!
Disney PTA will be hosting our Spring Book Fair from April 25 - May 2, 2025. We are excited to be using MiJa Books to provide a diverse selection of books for our children.
Book Fair Hour Change - Last Day of Book Fair will be Thursday, 5/1. You can continue to shop online at Mijabooks.com through Friday 5/2. Use the code WALTDISNEY at check out. Due to early dismissal, Thursday's after school hours will also be earlier than originally posted. Here are the revised hours:
- Monday 4/28: 2:25 PM - 3:15 PM
- Tuesday 4/29: 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM and 5:15 PM - 6:15 PM
- Wednesday 4/30: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM(Open House
- Thursday 5/1: 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM and 5:15 PM - 6:15 PM
Friday 5/2:2:25 PM - 3:15 PM
MiJa Books is an independent children’s bookstore and school book fair provider with the mission of amplifying stories by BIPOC creators, championing multicultural and multilingual books, and promoting books that center children of color. MiJa's vision is for children of color to be prideful of their heritage and identity. And for ALL children to have more inclusive bookshelves in order to foster empathetic and moral global citizens.

FERIA DEL Libro
La Asociación de Padres y Maestros de Disney (PTA) celebrará nuestra Feria del Libro de Primavera del 25 de abril al 5 de mayo de 2025. Nos entusiasma usar MiJa Books para ofrecer una diversa selección de libros a nuestros niños.
MiJa Books es una librería infantil independiente y proveedora de ferias del libro escolar con la misión de difundir historias de creadores BIPOC, promover libros multiculturales y multilingües, y promover libros centrados en niños de color. La visión de MiJa es que los niños de color se sientan orgullosos de su herencia e identidad. Y que TODOS los niños tengan estanterías más inclusivas para fomentar la ciudadanía global empática y moral.
Los estudiantes podrán visitar la feria del libro durante el almuerzo. La feria del libro estará abierta a padres y a la comunidad en el siguiente horario:
Lunes 28/4: 14:25 - 15:15
Martes 29/4: 13:30 - 14:30 y 17:15 - 18:15
Miércoles 30/4: 18:00 - 20:00 (Casa Abierta)
Jueves 1/5: 14:25 - 15:15 y 17:15 - 18:15
La Feria del Libro también estará disponible en línea del 28 de abril al 2 de mayo.
