Leads the Executive Board in all dealings of the PTA

• Resides over Association & Board Meetings: Keeping everyone on task to follow the established agenda
• Designated signer for checks and contracts
• Required to attend 1 additional meeting each month (Currently the 1st Monday of each month to meet with other District PTA Presidents and the Council PTA)

Works as a Sounding Board & Primary Aide to the President. 

• Performs all duties of the President in the President's absence
• Designated signer for checks

Keeps track of and accounts for all things discussed & decided on during Board & Association meetings

• Co-signer on all prepared check requests & authorizations
• Takes minutes at all Board & Association meetings. 
• Responsible for the review of all minutes by 3 members of the association.
• Maintains and Preserves PTA records & important documents

Handles all bookkeeping and records of all financials. 

• Keeps detailed financial records for review
• Designated signer for checks
• Cuts all checks to all vendors and arranges for counter signature
• Responsible for Ad Hoc filings necessary to keep our PTA compliant
• Creates reports and presents them in all board & association meetings

Works with the Board to ensure that the PTA will have the funds to support the work of the PTA

• Responsible for the set-up and execution of all Dine-Out opportunities through the year
• Responsible for the set-up and execution of all "Free Money" opportunities
• Works with the Board and various committees to plan and organize fundraising activities 

Reviews the financial records for accuracy and completion

• Reviews the books and financial records of the PTA to determine their accuracy
• Presents written reports on financial reviews to the board for review and the association for adoption
  
• Prepares a mid-year and end of year financial review

Supports Treasurer in all financial reporting & documentation

• Handles all incoming PTA funds. Arranges for verification of amounts and prepares deposit
• Keeps a record of all PTA funds collected, deposited and disbursed
• Creates reports and presents them in all board & association meetings

Keeps record of ALL volunteer hours associated with PTA business and submits reports up through PTA channels

• Captures, assembles and preserves record of activities and achievements of a PTA
• Collects volunteer hours for PTA meetings and works with volunteer coordinator to collect volunteer hours for events
  
• Completes and submits the PTA Unit-Annual Historian Report to council/district PTA

Ensures that all procedures are adhered to during meetings

• Assists the president to manage meetings and advises on parliamentary procedure
• Chairs Bylaws committee to review unit Bylaws each year and revise bylaws every five years
• Arranges nominating committee’s first meeting, providing information on nomination and election
  process

Works with the Board to meet the membership goals of the PTA

• Recruit and Encourage membership to PTA
• Engage existing members throughout the year
• Works closely with Communications Chair & Volunteer Coordinator

Maintain all channels of communication used to showcase the dealings and events of the PTA

• Maintains PTA website
• Maintains Social Media Channels
• Secures photo permissions for all media
• Maintains the calendar of PTA events

Works with the Board, Membership Chair and School to promote volunteer opportunities at school and PTA functions

• Responsible for the advertisement and coordination of Parent registrations in the Raptor system
• Oversees the recruitment, engagement and training of Room Reps
• Maintains the PTA Signup Genius
• Point of contact for all Student Volunteer Hour sign offs
• Point of contact for all parent and community member volunteers during larger PTA events
